Roberta M. Taylor, 80, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Haven Hospice Custead Care Center in Orange Park. A native of Pedricktown, New Jersey, she resided in Interlachen since 1992 coming from Perryville, Maryland. Roberta was a homemaker and a devoted member of Bethel Assembly of God in Interlachen. In her leisure time, Roberta enjoyed baking (cakes and pies) and dearly loved her animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Taylor, her parents, Robert and Helen Raine, a daughter, Helen Marie Taylor, a grandson, Michael Taylor and 6 siblings.
Roberta is survived by 2 sons, John S. Taylor (Kathy) and Donald S. Taylor (Cindy), all of Interlachen, 2 daughters, Margaret R. Taylor of Palatka and Patricia A. Taylor of Interlachen, a sister, Mary Ann Renner (Bill) of Pennsville, NJ, 9 grandchildren, Kimberly Taylor, Stephanie Taylor, Brandy Taylor, Kathleen Cox, Tara Taylor, Jennifer Taylor, Patricia McDonald and Kelly McDonald and Katrina Vanderbilt and numerous great-grandchildren.
Services celebrating Roberta’s life will be at 3:00 P.M. Monday, January 24, 2022 at Bethel Assembly of God in Interlachen with Pastor Mike McColley officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the Jacksonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 P.M. until the time of services at 3:00 P.M.
