Samuel Edward Wilkinson, 68, of San Mateo, passed from this life on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Putnam Community Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County. Samuel served in the Florida National guard and had worked at Georgia Pacific for over 40 years. In his leisure time, Samuel enjoyed playing music, fishing, cooking and riding motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his son, Donald Edward Wilkinson and parents, Eli P. and Maxine H. Wilkinson.
He is survived by his children, Tim Wilkinson (Christy), Kenneth E. Wilkinson, Michael T. Wilkinson (Jasmine), siblings, Randy Wilkinson (Irene), Moochie Wilkinson (Leslie), and Dawn Mattox (Gary), grandchildren, Micaela, Kekoa, Madelyn, and Malia.
Private family services will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2020.
