Obituary for Sandra Jean Murphy

Sandra Jean Murphy, 61, of Palatka, passed from this life on Monday, August 10, 2020 at Community Hospice Douglas Center for Caring in Jacksonville, following an extended illness. She was a native of Orlando and had been a resident of Palatka for most of her life. Sandra was a homemaker and enjoyed being outside, going to the beach and listening to music.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Brewster Marrs and Mary Louise Hamlin Marrs.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Joseph Murphy, daughter, Stephanie Womack and son-in-law, Rodney Womack, son, Edward Dylinn Murphy and daughter-in-law, Ashley Marie Gaskin), brother, Paul Wendell Marrs, grandchildren, Tristen Blake Womack, Kylie Ashlynn Womack, Macie Marie Murphy and Joshua Stephen Henry, II and nephew, Tyler Marrs.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Greg Griffis officiating. No visitation is scheduled.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice Alice and T. O'Neal Douglas Center for Caring, 800 Prudential Drive Fifth Floor, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
