Sara “Sally” Jackson Boyles, 80, passed away on May 20, 2021 at her home in San Mateo following an extended illness. Sally was born in Tallahassee Florida on June 8, 1940. She was adopted as an infant through Children’s Home Society by her parents Florence and James M. Jackson. Sally graduated from Brenau Academy in Gainesville Georgia in 1958. She married her husband of 50 years, Judge Stephen L. Boyles, in December of 1959. Together, they raised four children and she spent her years as a homemaker. Sally was an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and a devoted Christian. In her free time, she enjoyed playing bridge, shopping, and helping raise her 12 grandchildren, even while battling heart failure. Sally received a heart transplant in October of 2009 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and grandson, Brandon Wilkinson. She is survived by her sister: Nancy Jackson Pavlides, her children: Leslie Boyles Wilkinson (Moochie), Stephen Lewis Boyles Jr. (Dede), Allyson Boyles Currie (Patrick), Adele Boyles Mills (Dennis), grandchildren: Brandy Caison (Dustin), Stephen Wilkinson, Lauren Akins (Matthew), Lloyd Boyles (Anna), Sean Boyles, Ryan Currie, Christopher Currie, Fletcher Currie, Cody Mills, Savannah Mills, and Brantley Mills, and her great grandchildren: Chandler Caison, Turner Caison, Fischer Boyles, and Noah Boyles. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 3rd from 6-8pm at 151 Currie Road San Mateo, FL. Services will be held on Friday, June 4th at 10am at St. Mark’s Episcopal church in Palatka with Father Robert F. Marsh, Jr. officiating.
