Sharon Louise Beauford, 64, of Palatka, passed away at HCA Florida North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville holding the hand of her long-time companion of 40 years, Jimmy Conley. A native and lifelong resident of Palatka, Sharon was a 1975 graduate of Palatka South High School and a 1977 graduate of St. Johns River Community College where she received her Associate in Arts Degree. She had worked 40 years at Georgia Pacific where she was a rewind operator. Sharon loved her cats and drinking coffee at Huddle House in Palatka.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Inez Beauford and a brother, Randy Beauford.
Sharon is survived by her long-time companion of 40 years, Jimmy Conley of Palatka and several nieces and nephews including Devon Beauford of Palatka.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
