Steven Vance Lawson, 62, of Interlachen, passed from this life on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at UF Health in Jacksonville following a brief illness. Born in Port Smith, Ohio, Steven served honorably in the U.S. Army. He resided in Interlachen since the late 1980’s moving there from Palatka. Steven had worked 10 years with Geo-Tech in Ocala. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking (grilling).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vancil L. Lawson and Sally J. Lawson.
Steven is survived by a brother, Greg Lawson (Sherri) of Hawthorne, a sister, Sheryl Willink (David) of Daytona, nephews, Bradley Willink (Nepher) and Ashley Munch and great-niece and nephew, Nava Marie Willink and Austin Jay.
