Susan Lynn “Suzi” Scharf, 63, of Pomona Park, passed from this life on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Community Hospice Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine following an extended illness. Suzi was born in Jacksonville and attended Ed White High School. She resided in Putnam County since 2008 coming from Ormond Beach. Suzi had worked as a typesetter with a printing company in Jacksonville and then as a customer service liaison with the Dannon Corporation. She was a member of the College Road Church of Christ. Growing up, Suzi enjoyed the beach and surfing and in later years she loved offshore fishing,
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Roberson and JoAnne Adams Roberson and a sister, Karen Anne Roberson.
Suzi is survived by her husband of 16 years, Wayne Scharf of Pomona Park, 2 sons, Jason Moon of St. Augustine and Steven Carmichael of Jacksonville, a daughter, Carin Steele (Chad) of Argyle, a sister, Ellen Irish of Fleming Island, a brother, Paul Roberson (Karen) of Atlanta, GA and 4 grandchildren, Tyler Moon, Taylor Moon, Carson Steele and Cyleigh Steele.
Private family graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to the College Road Church of Christ, 400 College Road, Palatka, FL 32177.
