Theresa Anne Robinson Martin, 90, of Palatka, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Vintage Care of Palatka following an extended illness. She was born in Ocala, FL to the late Thomas and Olive Flanagan of Eureka. She is also preceded in death by her former husbands, Charles “Chuck” Robinson and William “Bill” Martin, sons, David Robinson, Kenneth Robinson, Kelly Robinson, grandson, Charles Leo Young as well as 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
She is survived by her son, John Keith Robinson (Nereida), daughters, Linda Robinson and Mary Preston, grandchildren, Terri Bainbridge (Chuck), Patrick Robinson (Julie), Travis Davis, Sara Davis, Kathia Parry, Kaishia Pomales Robinson, great-grandsons, Logan, Micah, Riley and Josiah Robinson, great-granddaughters, Kristina Bainbridge and Rebecca Robinson, great-great-granddaughters, Kenzie Cumbo and Raelyn Wells.
Theresa was employed by the U S Postal service of Indianapolis and later transferred to Palatka before her retirement in 1989. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, writing poetry and loved crossword puzzles. Theresa was a devout Roman Catholic and was very involved at St. Monica Catholic Church. She was also a dedicated volunteer with Haven Hospice.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Eddie Stith officiating and Marsha Davis Flowers speaking. Burial will follow in Eureka Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 10:00 am until time of services.
