Veronica Levida Cannon, 43, of Ft. McCoy, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. She was a native and lifelong resident of Putnam County. Veronica had attended Crescent City High School and worked for Friedman Jewelers in St. Augustine for more than 12 years. In her leisure time, Veronica loved fishing, tending to her flowers and was an accomplished corn hole player.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, David Cannon, Jr. of Ft. McCoy, father, Ronald W. Harris, Sr. (Priscilla) of Interlachen, mother, Diane Kight (Brad) of Hastings, stepson, Tristin Lee Cannon of Melrose, siblings, Ronald W. Harris, Jr. (Samantha) of East Palatka, Kendra Cannon (Kevin) of Deltona, Paula Rich (Russell) of Palatka, and Jessica Bouchez of Clayton, NY, half-brother, Kevin Thompson, aunt, Angela Nix (Kathi) of Jacksonville, uncle, Greg Nix (Dee) of Alabama, nieces and nephews, Craig Rich, Sophia Harris, Kaitlyn Harris, Penelope Harris, Abigail Bouchez, Garrett Bouchez, Bradley Bouchez, Kayrisa Bouchez and Brandon Bouchez, as well as god-children, Robert Luke II and Ava Luke.
