Obituary for Wanda Mae Hodge
Wanda Mae Hodge, 76, of Brooker, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Palm Garden of Gainesville following an extended illness. She was born in Lulu, FL and had been a lifelong resident of Brooker. Wanda had worked as a manager for a local convenience store retiring after 30 years and was a member of Brooker Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, listening to country music and spending time with her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette Prescott, sister, Kathy Drawdy and brother, Denver Prescott.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Irving Hodge, children, Rhonda Wolf (Gary), Karen Williams (Ernie), Myra Roberts and William Hodge, brother, Johnny Prescott, 7 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren.
Services celebrating Wanda’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Grandin Lake Shores Clubhouse.
