Obituary for Wesley Ann Hines

Wesley Ann Hines, 82, of Palatka, passed from this life on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Windsor Care and Rehabilitation Center in Palatka after an extended illness. She was a native of Glenwood, Georgia and had been a resident of Putnam County since 1954. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Palatka. Wesley Ann had worked a number of places over the years including the family business, Baker Slaughterhouse, with the Handy Way Stores and in the Data Processing with the Putnam County School District. She had also been the owner and operator of the Old Plantation Restaurant and served as a bookkeeper at Brunner’s Building Supply.
Wesley Ann was preceded in death by her father, John Wesley Baker, her mother, Frankie McDaniel Baker, a daughter, Linda Hines Black and a brother, Franklin Baker.
She is survived her husband of 50 years, W. L. Hines of Palatka, sons, Don Ansley of Palatka, John Ansley of Virginia Beach, VA, sister, Betty Sue York of Crescent Beach, son-in-law, Mike Black of Palatka, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
