Obituary for William "Sonny" Pugh Jr.
William Smith “Sonny” Pugh, Jr., 77, of Palatka, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Orange Park Medical Center following an extended illness. Sonny was born and raised in Lebanon, VA and was of the Baptist faith. He attended East Tennessee State University and University of Virginia Banking School. He was Vice President of First National Exchange Bank in Richlands, VA until he retired. After moving to Florida in 1993, he worked at Beck’s Auto Sales where he made many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Pugh, stepdaughter, Michelle Stillword (Joseph) of Palatka, stepson, Steven Blankenship (Cindy) of Keller, TX as well as 5 step grandchildren.
