Obituary

Jeffrey Allen Scott, 56, of Satsuma, passed from this life on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at his home following an extended illness. He was a native of Greenwood, SC and had lived in Putnam County for the past 34 years. He had worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for WastePro. Jeff was a member of the Fleet Reserve in Interlachen He enjoyed fishing, old cars, and “BBQ & Bud Light.”
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Roamey Scott, brothers, Terry Joe Scott and Kenneth Scott, and sister, Kathy Schultz.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Cindy Scott, sister, Marion Strunk (Fred), numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members as well as his beloved K9 companions, Maggie, Buddy and Hershey.
Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Bro. Shawn Thomas officiating.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or memorial donations may be made to SAFE Pet Rescue, P O Box 188, Hollister, FL 3214 .
