Obituary

Cyrenus Leroy “Lee” Amon, III, 47, of Interlachen, passed away on Sunday January 10, 2021 in St. Petersburg from injuries received in a work-related accident. A native and lifelong resident of Putnam County, Lee was a 1992 graduate of Palatka High School. He had worked for 13 years with P & S Transportation based in Birmingham, AL. In his leisure time, Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and gardening (tending to his flowers).
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Sue Harris Amon.
Lee is survived by 2 daughters, Allyson Amon of East Palatka and Lindsey Amon of Interlachen, a sister, LaDonna Amon of Interlachen, his step-mother, Angie Willis of St. Augustine, a niece, Cassie Amon of TN and several cousins.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Tim Plymel officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to S.AF.E. Pet Rescue of Putnam County, P.O. Box 188, Hollister, FL 32147.

Arrangements are entrusted to Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka.
