Obituary

Walter S. Linker, 82, of Palatka, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center. He was born on June 30, 1937 in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he lived most of his life. He joined the Marines and then married Joan Carol Miller on June 14, 1964.

Besides his wife of 55 years, Joan Linker , he is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Traber (Husband George) and his 2 sons, Kevin Linker (Wife Paula), and Todd Linker; 3 grandchildren, Jordyn Traber, Nathaniel Linker and Benjamin Linker; Brother Sidney Linker (Wife Jo) of Albemarle, North Carolina.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Johnson-Overturf Chapel in Palatka with Pastor Jason Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at WestView Cemetery in Palatka. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at 10:00.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions and guidelines, those attending must refrain from any physical contact with others and must adhere to social distancing.
