My mom was such a giving soul. She became a nurse to be able to help others and dedicated her life to doing just that. Whether it was through work, the church, a mother or a friend, she was always there to lend a hand or just listen. She was my best friend in the world and my heart is shattered. Life as I have known it was changed forever on May 26th. I hold on to the knowledge that I will see her again one day. And I know that I have a special angel in heaven along with my brother and grand-parents. Rejoice in heaven momma, until we meet again. I love you so very much, Brenda.

My mother was the best mother in the world. She had a giving heart. She choose a career of helping others by becoming a nurse. She worked hard and endured long, stressful hours. In her retirement she worked at her church. She loved cross stitch and reading mystery novels. She also loved to watch Atlanta Braves baseball and going to the beach. She did not like to have her photo taken or displayed. She did not want fanfare or to be in the spotlight in any way. She had the heart of God's servant and finished her race well. A life well lived is a treasure and she was pure gold. Until we meet again, I love you Momma.
